The Beaches |

This beautiful home with its rugged ocean shoreline, has lava rock tide pools suitable for shoreline fishing but not safe for swimming. There's a great boat harbor just steps away with it's own sandy beach for swimming, shelling and just watching the ocean activities that are part of this wonderful community. The closest good swimming and great snorkeling beach is just 4 blocks away at Lawai Beach. The famed Poipu Beach, well known for swimming and snorkeling, is less than a 10-minute drive down the coast. |

This is a very special house. The abundance of glass and the open floor plan maximize the spectacular ocean views from every room. Custom Hawaiian koa wood cabinetry in the well-equipped kitchen, vaulted ceilings, upper and lower level private lanais, and the unique decorating features, all create that special sense of place. Lots of fun furnishings such as the pune'e in the living room that doubles as a comfy Hawaiian bed for watching TV at night, and swivels toward the ocean for seasonal whale watching during the day. There are CD players, VCRs and TVs in the master suites and a TV/VCR/DVD in the living room upstairs, and a TV, VCR and video game system in the 3rd bedroom downstairs. There is Roadrunner high speed cable internet access for those traveling with a laptop computer equipped with an Ethernet port. No air-conditioning, but lots of fans to enhance those wonderful, tropical breezes. Two full baths with tub/showers upstairs, and one bath with shower downstairs. There's an Oceanside gas BBQ, and lots of teak outdoor furniture for divine island living. |
